The Community Public Safety Academy offers students, staff, and faculty an inside look at our department. Participants learn from Public Safety professionals to better understand how the Department works to reduce crime and build trust.
Program Goals

- Promote transparency and communication
- Increase awareness of campus safety challenges
- Share practical tips on crime prevention and personal safety
Through the span of 4 weeks, sessions will feature discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities led by department members. Participants who complete the program receive a certificate of completion recognizing their commitment to safety and partnership. Each class will be 2-hours, where food will be provided.
