Panic Alarm & Panic Buttons are provided by the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management as a technology to assist members of our community when they are in an emergent situation. When pressed, the panic button sends an immediate alert to our department. Please note that the preferred method of communication during an emergency is to call Public Safety directly at (401) 863-4111 whenever possible so that you can verbally describe the situation. However, in situations where making a call is not feasible, the panic button may be used to quickly signal the need for assistance. The button should be pressed and only needs to be held for five (5) seconds. The LED will flash red when activated to send the signal. We've provided visual instructions below to ensure proper usage.
