Public Safety and Emergency Management

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW)

Each April, Brown Public Safety participates in National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), a nationwide observance established in 1981 to raise awareness of victims’ rights and honor those affected by crime. During this week, we highlight how our Law Enforcement Advocate could help those who have been victims of crime, host educational events, and provide resources to support survivors within the Brown community. By participating in NCVRW, Public Safety underscores our commitment to empowering victims, promoting awareness, and fostering a campus culture where all members feel supported and informed. Events and resources focus on education, outreach, and connecting community members with our available services to ensure safety, understanding, and healing.
