The Brown University Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management provides this notice in compliance with the Timely Notice provision of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
Incident
At 7:30 pm, the Brown University Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management (DPSEM) received a report of a breaking and entering into a student residence room within Minden Hall. The room was unoccupied and had been left unlocked at the time of the incident. An unidentified individual entered the room and removed cash and personal property. No injuries were reported, and a suspect description is not available at this time.
This matter is under investigation by the Brown University Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Brown University Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management at 401-863-3322.

- Do Not Tailgate: Ensure that exterior building doors close and latch behind you. Do not allow unknown individuals to follow you into the building.
