Brown University's Public Safety and Emergency Management is informing the campus community of a robbery that occurred on campus behind Smith Buonanno Hall (near the intersection of Cushing and Brown Street). 

Incident:

On Friday 10-25-19 at 10:35 pm, a Brown University student was walking on campus near Smith Buonanno Hall, when two unknown males displayed a weapon and took his laptop computer and cell phone. The student was not injured.

The suspects were described as wearing dark clothing, and fled the area on Cushing Street westbound.

The incident is under investigation by Brown University's Public Safety and Emergency Management and the Providence Police Department. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Brown University's Public Safety and Emergency Management at 401-863-3322 or the Providence Police Department at 401-272-3121.
