Brown University's Public Safety and Emergency Management received notification from the Providence Police Department of a robbery incident which occurred on Thayer Street, at the intersection of Olive Street.
Incident: On Saturday 9-12-20, at approximately 12:50 pm, a female was walking on Thayer Street when an unknown male wearing a white shirt and black sweatpants, with a stocky build, grabbed her purse and shoved her to the ground. The unknown assailant fled on Olive St and left the scene in a gold Nissan Altima. The victim (non-affiliated) contacted the Providence Police Department from her residence.
