Public Safety and Emergency Management is informing the campus community of a robbery that occurred in the vicinity of 155 Angell Street.

Incident: On Friday 9-25-20, at approximately 11:30 pm, a male was walking through the parking lot at 155 Angell Street, when he was approached by two unknown males who displayed firearms. The assailants then told the victim to empty his pockets and demanded his money. The assailants then took the victim’s backpack and fled from the area in an unidentified vehicle. The victim (non-affiliated) was not injured during the incident. 

The incident is under investigation by the Providence Police Department. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Providence Police Department at 401-272-3121 or Brown's Public Safety and Emergency Management at 401-863-3322.
